Itinerary Details
Day 1 Entry Beijing
Arrive in Beijing and be greeted by our tour guide who will escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure .

Day 2. Beijing (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Tiananmen Square--It is the largest public square in the world and is considered a symbol of the Peoples Republic of China Forbidden City--The Forbidden City was built between 1406 and 1420 during the Ming Dynasty. It had been the imperial home of 24 emperors of the Ming dynasties.




Temple of Heaven -- the place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvest
Kongfu show -- A newly-produced show named Legend of Kung Fu is put on in the Red Theater

Day 3 Beijing
Sightseeing: Badaling Great Wall, Scared Way, Ming Tomb Peking Duck dinner
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Badaling Great Wall--It is the most intact and representative part of the Great Wall built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644)
Scared Way-- As part of the Ming Tombs complex. It is a long, straight path flanked by statues first of ancient government officials and then by animals
Ming Tomb-- the mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty .
Peking Duck-- It is an excellent choice if you want to understand more about Chinese cuisine, culture and customs.

Day 4. Beijing – Chongqing (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner)
Sightseeing: The Bund, Nanjing Road
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

--Visit Summer Palace.
--Transfer to airport to connect flight to Chongqing, the starting point of the Yangtze River cruise. --Be met by local guide of Chinatravelcompass. Proceed to visit ancient town of Ciqikou.
--Then transfer to check in Century Star(5 star) or Oriental King(5 star) Cruise ship.


Day 5: Yangtze River Cruise (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner)
--08:30-10:00, disembark for an excursion to Shibaozhai. Shibaozhai was first built in Qing Dynasty in 1750, the mountain looks like a rectangular rock with sheer cliffs, and the wooden architecture that is built by catch upon the cliff with a height of 56 meters and 12 stories, standing on the riverside. Back to the ship and continue the cruise.
The Captain's Welcome Party will be held in the evening.

Day 5: Yangtze River Cruise (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner)



--Early in the morning, sail through the Qutang Gorge, its towering rock formations have names which reflect their bizarre shapes such as Hanging Monk Rock or Rhinoceros Looking at the Moon.

--Pass the second gorge - Wu Gorge, celebrated for its lofty Twelve Peaks which almost blot out the sky. The guides will talk about legend of historic sites: Ancient Plank Road, Mengliang Stairway and the suspended coffins on the sheer cliffs.

--Disembark at Wushan Daning River and take a motorized sampan tour to the picturesque Three Little Gorges. The stream is a tributary carrying clear, cooler water into the Yangtse. Have a close look at mossy rocks, verdant plants, plank roads, ancient coffins and precious animals. Back to the ship and continue the cruise.
--Pass the Xiling Gorge. About 66 km long, it is the longest of the Three Gorges and is entirely within Hubei Province. This gorge is full of shoals and rapid currents. Pass the five-step ship lock at the Three Gorges Dam. --Have a Farewell Party tonight with the cruise staff tonight.

 

-Day 6: Yangtze River Cruise (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner)
-At about 08:00 Disembark at Huang Ling Miao pier and visit the Three Gorges Dam, it is planned to be by far the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Arrives in Yichang at about 13:30, our guide will meet you on board.

Day 7. Shanghai (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner)
-Visit Shanghai Museum, Yuyuan Garden, the Bund area along Huangpu River.
--Enjoy Acrobatic Show



Day 8. Shanghai (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner)
-Visit Shanghai Museum, Yuyuan Garden, the Bund area along Huangpu River.
--Enjoy Acrobatic Show


Day 9. Shanghai (Breakfast )
Your free day in Shanghai


Day 10. Shanghai and Exit

Transfer to the train station or airport for your next stop.
