Arrival in BeijingOur guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area at Beijing Airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

--Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a famous restaurant followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre.(B+L+D)

Tiananmen Square - To the west of the Tiananmen Square, there is the Great Hall of the People which is the site of the National People's Congress of China. Occupying an area of 171,800 square meters, the 46.5-meter-high Great Hall is larger than the Forbidden City, spanning 336 meters south-to-north and 206 meters west-to-east.

Forbidden City - The Forbidden City has four gates, among which the Meridian Gate is the frontispiece. With a retuse surface, it looks quite spectacular. Behind the Meridian Gate, there are five exquisite white marble arch bridges leading to the Gate of Supreme Harmony.

--Visit the Badaling Great Wall. To avoid having lunch at shopping site restaurants, you will be driven to have Sichuan food at a local popular restaurant. Visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. On the way back to downtown, drive by the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium). You will see its appearance at a distance.

--Enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Transfer to the hotel. A short bicycle trip to the countryside will then be arranged. You will visit a local villager's home to experience the farmer's lifestyle there. Alternatively, you can take our electric car instead of taking bicycles.

--Li River -The 83-kilometer-waterway from Guilin to Yanshuo is the masterpiece of the Li River scenery. It is the most typical karst topography in northeastern Guangxi. The valleys in this area are broad and shallow.

--We intend to leave the day free. You can find West Street with the breathtaking scenery and have a pot of tea in a sidewalk cafe feeling totally relaxed. You can rent a bicycle to visit the Moon Hill and the Tall Banyan

--Yangshuo - In the world famous tourist destination Yangshuo, there is a famous small street, West Street, which is one of the oldest streets of the town. Low brick wooden houses and local residences on stilts spaced on both sides of the road paved with gray flagstone. Since it was first found by western travelers in 1970s, the West Street has been frequently written in travel guide book and introduced to more people to come around for its unsophisticated residential houses and distinctive folk culture.

Drive back to Guilin. Visit the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Then our guide and driver will see you off at the airport .Hope next time we still have the chance to serve you again.(B+L)
